Personal Interests
Lifelong news addict and political podcast enthusiast, with a deep personal and professional commitment to media literacy, current affairs, and meaningful communication. Living in Croatia for the past nine years has profoundly shaped my worldview - giving me a Southern European perspective, and a deep appreciation for cultural nuance, community, and the quiet strength of adaptability.
Alongside my professional career in writing and information services, I’ve experienced the worlds of viticulture, horticulture, tourism, and apartment management. Learning to navigate daily life in another language, culture, and system has made me flexible, resilient, and resourceful. Whether I’m explaining a complex workflow or drawing a scene from daily life, I bring curiosity, empathy, and clarity to everything I do.
I’m an artist at heart - recently rediscovering painting and drawing - and an active member of a thriving, enthusiastic writing community. I’m motivated by work that informs, supports, and inspires others. For me, good communication is always about connection: whether with a client, a reader, or a wider community.
